Site work and renovation of a civil project in Melbourne Vlg, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of West Melbourne requests submittal of bid proposals for the Ray Bullard WRF SWMA Project. The work under this project consists of construction of a 4.0 MG of MIT storage by utilizing the existing ground storage tank and an existing stormwater pond at the Ray Bullard Water Reclamation Facility on Henry Avenue in West Melbourne, Florida. This new construction will require utility demolition, utility relocations, and a significant amount of earthwork to provide stormwater quality improvements and flood protection to 489 acres of developed and undeveloped area. Various demolition and restoration of items within the project areas will be required (including sod, trees, etc.). All bids shall be based on the bid documents, specifications, and project drawings included within the bid package. The duration of the contract shall be for 210 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to Final Completion, with Substantial Completion within 180 days from NTP. Meeting and submittal dates shall be specified in the delivery schedule. The supply, delivery, construction, equipment quantity, unit price and total cost amount of the referenced project shall be based on the design drawings and bid documents.
