Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Penn Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Bid results will be available via website by the close of business on Friday, April 16, 2021. NOTE: The Commissioners of Penn Township have authorized C.S. Davidson, Inc. to act on their behalf by opening bids. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Penn Township. A bid bond by an acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Penn Township in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Bidders are required to be PennDOT prequalified, as specified in Publication 408, Section 102.01. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of his qualifications to perform the work. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. Bidders should refer to federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public and natural resources pursuant to PA Act No. 1972-247. The Contract Time for this project one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Penn Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids.
