Treatment of Structures are to be done using Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System with Always Active Bait that is immediately available to termites. Stations are to be spaced 8 to 10 feet apart excluding areas where concrete or asphalt must be cored. Cores must be installed no more than 20 feet apart in concrete or asphalt that exceeds label standards. Treatment must include annual maintenance of termite bait stations and replacement of any damaged stations or bait tubes as needed, with each station and bait tube scanned and a detailed digital report provided, each inspection, that details all termite activity in bait stations or on structure. Annual inspections must be performed on the exterior and interior of each structure and any active termites treated according to Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination treatment standards. Each bidder will be required to furnish a copy of their City of Dothan business license as well as their certificate of liability insurance at the bid opening. In addition, each successful bidder will be required to furnish proof of insurance on a quarterly basis. The Dothan City Board of Education reserves the right to cancel a contract if service is unsatisfactory or if proration deems it necessary. The successful low bidder(s) will be issued a purchase order number. Checks are cut based upon presentation of an approved invoice(s). All invoices must be turned into the school office the day of mowing and signed by school principals documenting satisfactory performance of grounds maintenance requirements. It will be the responsibility of the principals to forward these invoices to the Facilities Department for payment.
