The University of New Mexico (UNM) is soliciting offers from qualified firms to respond to the following Request for Proposal (RFP) for the UNM College of Fine Arts (CFA) Plan as described and identified within this Request For Proposal ("RFP") invitation. The CFA Plan will be an integrated physical and strategic 10-year plan prepared for the purposes of identifying, prioritizing, and making the case for: Capital projects that will meet CFA's immediate needs for its Music Department, Film, and Interdisciplinary Arts; and anticipate our long-term growth plans, especially in the areas of Film, Musical Theatre, and the Interdisciplinary Arts. Attracting opportunities that expand, strengthen, and create new strategic private, public, non-profit, and community partnerships that advance the operational and financial sustainability of the CFA. This RFP for design, strategic, and physical planning services anticipates a 6- to 8-month effort resulting in the CFA Plan - an integrated physical facility and strategic plan, including a marketing document, that addresses the above purposes and further goals, deliverables and requirements as described below. UNM seeks a firm that has had direct experience dealing with the unique needs of a fine arts educational organization.
