The Project consists of the following major items: Installation of approximately 890 linear feet of 96-inch, 665 linear feet of 90-inch, 1,400 linear feet of 78-inch, 1,055 linear feet of 60-inch, 540 linear feet of 48-inch and 2,075 linear feet of 30- inch storm drain. (Alternative materials and cross-sections/sizes of equivalent capacity to be bid as alternatives.) Various inlets, junction boxes, associated appurtenances, erosion control and site restoration to be included also. Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall be required to submit with their Bids affidavits of "Good Faith Efforts" in the recruitment of Minority Businesses. The Work will be subject to the prevailing wage rates and to the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements established by the U.S. Department of Labor.
