Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Range: $250001-500000 Removal of existing wood flooring in the Gymnasium. Removal of existing wood sub-flooring down to structural concrete slab where indicated Temporary removal of steel angle base. Temporary removal of wood and steel benches New wood sub-flooring where indicated New wood flooring in the Gymnasium Prepare, refinish, paint and re-install steel angle base at original location Prepare, refinish, paint and re-install benches at original location Prime and paint walls where indicated, all doors, radiator covers and ceilings. Upgrade interior finishes New athletic wall padding as indicated A Wick subcontractor is defined as a subcontractor performing construction work in the HVAC, Plumbing & Gas Fitting or Electrical Trades and (except for HVAC) is licensed to do business in the CITY OF NEW YORK in that trade. The SCA has determined that: 1) the value of each of the "Wicks" trades under the solicitation is less than $10,000 or; 2) there is no Wicks trade work under this solicitation. Therefore, the bidder is not required to complete and submit with its bid the "Wicks" Subcontractor. Only those bidders, specifically invited by the SCA to submit a bid, will be eligible for a contract award under the referenced solicitation. Additionally, to be eligible for an award of the referenced work, the low responsive bidder must be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the SCA during the bid evaluation period, that it has successfully completed work on a similar project in terms of cost, scope and complexity. The Contractor shall pay to the Construction Manager as liquidated damages the sum of Five Hundred ($500) Dollars for each and every continuous calendar day the Work shall not be completed after the above- stated Substantial Completion date or any authorized extension thereof. The Contractor shall commence Work under this Contract at a date to be specified in a Notice to Proceed (NTP) letter issued by the Construction Manager and, shall complete Work on the Project, on or before 270 continuous calendar days from the date in the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
