Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

In general, the work consists of: crack sealing and infrared heat patching of asphaltic pavements for various roadway and parking facilities statewide for a two-year period (through December 31, 2022). Base bids will be received as follows: Unit Prices for each of the five (5) geographic regions located statewide. Please see regional map on page GRsp-10. Award of contracts for any of the five (5) regions will be made to the lowest combined total price of unit price base bids for crack sealing and infrared heat patches for each respective area. Total Base Bids for Areas 1 through 5 will be for 1,000 lineal feet of routed crack cleaning and filling at the per foot unit price, and for 20 full heats of infrared thermal bond seamless asphalt patches at the per heat unit price. This quantity and bid amount is only for the basis of award and does not represent the quantity or value of work in any given area. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. Security for Separate 100% Performance and Separate 100% Payment. Performance and Payment Bonds will only be required if individual project requests exceed $50,000.
