Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Thousand Oaks, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work involves construction of improvements to allow Calleguas Municipal Water District ("Calleguas") and Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) to transfer water between their two systems. These improvements include (but are not limited to): construction of an underground concrete structure Pump Station / Pressure Regulating Station ("PS/PRS") including two vertical turbine pumps with 400 horsepower motors, suction and discharge piping and appurtenances, pressure regulating station, metering facilities, electrical facilities, two 500kW portable diesel standby generator sets, and related equipment; 30 inch diameter pipeline extending from the PS/PRS to Lindero Feeder No. 2; modifications to the existing Falling Star Meter Station and construction of a new metering station (TWSD Meter Station); and modifications to several existing air release and vacuum valves located along Lindero Feeder No. 2; and modifications to piping at Lindero Pump Station #1 (LPS1).
