The Project consists of constructing 4,900 LF of 12-inch and 60 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer. Plans and specifications have been modified to incorporate previous addenda and other design changes from the original bid documents. As of August 26 2021, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2031 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2025. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2025. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Compliance with the Town of Harrisburgs Guidance for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses will be required on this contract. Bidders shall submit with their bids affidavits of Good Faith Efforts in the recruitment of minority businesses. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any portion of any bid they deem necessary for the best interest of the Town, to accept any item or group of items unless qualified by the bidder, to acquire additional quantities at prices quoted on the bid form. The party submitting a bid is solely responsible for delivery of the bid at the specified location prior to the deadline for receipt of bids.
