The below is the scope of work for Bid Package 131 Pre-engineered Press Box. that will be required by the contract. If a Bidder is unable to provide this scope turn key, then they should contact Universal Construction so that we may clarify items if we deem necessary. Provide a turn key premanufactured Press Box per the below descriptions. Bidders shall price Alternates 4A, 4B, and 4C. The General items are part of all three alternate options. General included with each Alternate. Alternate 4A, 4B, and 4C (General): Provide a press box as indicated on sheet AS101. The finish floor of the press box shall be approx 24' above finish grade. The press box shall include: Mini split system in each room A rooftop camera deck A 5' roof overhang along the field side A 2' window reterns along the outer faces and between each room. Price option to have tilted wall/window along the field vs the vertical window as typically provided. A 5'-4" wide exterior walkway/landing connected by exterior stairs. A gate at the bottom of the stairs restricting access to the stairs Finishes and materals as selected from manufacturers standard offerings. Demolition of Existing Press Box is by others and excluded from this package, however if this package would like they can bid the demo so long as it is bid as a separate line item. Alternate 4A Only: Press box shall be built utilizing the existing structure with manufacturer adding support structure as required. Adding of structure supports is by this bid package. Structural engineering design for support system under press box shall be delegated to press box manufacturer based on design criteria provided by project structural engineer. Press box structural engineering shall be based on field measurements and analysis provided by this bid package. Alternate 4B Only: Press box to be built around existing structure with new structure. Existing structural components shall be demolished as required for new design and as acceptable to Architect and Owner. Structural engineering design for support system under press box shall be delegated to this bid package based on design criteria provided by project structural engineer. Alternate 4C Only: Manufacturer to provide press box only. Structural design for support system under press box shall be provided by Owner under a separate contract. This project is to consist of Union Carpenters and Union Building Laborers, subcontractors must have an active agreement with these unions or be willing to sign a one-time project agreement if your trade utilizes Carpenters or Laborers. Contractors are to assume an Anticipated Start Date of 1 June 2021 and an Anticipated End /Substantial Completion Date 13 August 2021.
