Site work for a mixed-use development in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The Contractor will complete the construction of four (4) LID facilities and connection to existing minor storm system in the neighbourhoods of Rideau Park and Empire Park as follows: Rideau Park Site R1 - 109a Street N.W. cul-de-sac bioretention basin Rideau Park Site R2 - 43 Avenue N.W. cul-de-sac bioretention basin Empire Park Site E3- 104a Street N.W. linear bioretention basin Empire Park Site E4C - 47 Avenue N.W. linear bioretention basin The project consists of: Stripping and excavation of the sites Supply and placement of granular and LID soil mix materials within facility footprint, Installation of distribution and subdrain pipes within the LID facilities Connection of subdrains to the existing storm sewer system, Installation of surface and barrel type cleanouts including connections to the distribution and subdrain pipes Installation of LID catch basins, leads and surface inlets including utility cut surface restoration; Alley reconstruction including pavement structure removals, grading, granular base course and asphalt paving; Landscaping including supply and placement of topsoil, sod, mulches, and tree and shrub plantings.
