The AGAWAM HOUSING AUTHORITY, (the Owner and Awarding Authority), invites sealed bids from GENERAL CONTRACTORS for construction of NEW ROLL IN SHOWER REMODELS at the Colonial Haven and Meadowbrook Manor Elderly Housing developments located in Agawam, Massachusetts; in accordance with the documents prepared by Leon Pernice And Associates Inc., AIA, Architects-Planners-Interior Designers, 34 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, West Springfield, Massachusetts. The Project consists of renovation of three existing Bathrooms located in two Buildings on two sites adjacent to one another. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Notice to Proceed for this Project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date DHCD approves the construction contract. The work is estimated to cost $104,416.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) in the following category of work: GENERAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION and must submit with its Bid a Certificate of Eligibility and signed Update Statement. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount payable to the Agawam Housing Authority.
