Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lee, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of: the pavement overlay of several roads in Lee, NH (see attached map). All mix shall meet or exceed State of New Hampshire requirements (random samples may be taken and tested). Bidders must determine the quantities of work required and the conditions under which the work will be performed. The Town reserves the right, after bid opening and prior to award of the contract, to modify the amount of the work in the event that bids exceed budgeted amounts Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation for paving work. Any Bid submitted by a Bidder not pre-qualified will be rejected as non-conforming. A recommendation will be presented at the Select Board meeting on Monday May 17, 2021. Questions may be directed to Steven Bullek, Public Works Director 603-659-3027/6515. Work to be completed prior to Sept 24, 2021. Labor and materials payment bond in the sum equal to 100 percent of the contract amount. The Town of Lee reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, to re-bid, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town.
