The work generally consists of pavement mill and overlaying 0.26 miles of Sunwood Drive between Erkium Street and St. Francis Boulevard (TH 47), and 0.46 miles of Sunwood Drive between Bunker Lake Boulevard (CSAH 116) and Sunfish Lake Boulevard (CR 57). The work is estimated to include: o 15,622 square yard of bituminous pavement milling, o 1,719 tons of bituminous pavement, o 299 lineal feet of concrete curb & gutter, o 69 square yards of concrete walk, o 9,185 lineal feet of pavement marking, and o Miscellaneous other improvements. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on April 27, 2021, and that work may begin on or about June 1, 2021. For this project we will accept only online electronic bids. Instructions for online bidding are included in the Project Specifications. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. The original bid bond must be delivered to the City within 2 business days after the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 45 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.
