Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Princeton, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of reconstructing 1.20 miles of the Business Park 95 commercial subdivision including; McKinley Street, Radium Street, Unity Street, and 140th Avenue. The work is estimated to include: 4,090 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter replacement, 24,076 square yards of full-depth pavement reclamation, 5,526 tons of bituminous pavement, 1,037 lineal feet of storm sewer replacement, and Miscellaneous other improvements. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded on April 27, 2021, and that work may begin on or about June 1, 2021. Each bidder shall submit a bid bond made payable to the City of Ramsey in the amount of 5% of the total bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder shall fail to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond. The online bid must be completed and submitted, all addenda acknowledged and acknowledgement uploaded to the site, and a copy of the bid bond uploaded to the site. The original bid bond must be delivered to the City within 2 business days after the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least 45 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The City of Ramsey reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.
