Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dahlgren, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 63,309-square-foot, two-story above grade, 125-room hospitality development; for site work for a hospitality development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Project Value: $ 24,900,000 Building Area: 63,309 SF W. M. Jordan requests pricing assistance for this competitively bid design-build project. The project includes all design and construction necessary for a new 125-room Navy Gateway Inn & Suites (NGIS). The 4.5 acre project site is located in a fully developed area near the South end of the Naval Support Facility (NSF) Dahlgren, in King George County, VA. Currently the site is occupied by a gravel parking lot, lawn areas, and few scattered trees. A two-story building and an associated parking lot formerly occupied the parcel until they were demolished in 2015. Improvements within the site include, but are not limited to, a fire hydrant, communication manholes, sanitary sewer manholes, trail signs, concrete sidewalks, and a grass channel along the East side of the site. The project also includes approximately 3,300 linear feet of storm sewer system replacement. Work is scheduled to begin in Fall 2022 with an approximate overall duration of 15 months.
