Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Willmar, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Bridge Replacement No. 34J52 located on CSAH 16, approximately 0.4 miles west of CSAH 8 Combined estimated quantities of work are: 14' x 5' Precast Conc Box Culvert - 60 LIN FT, 14'x 5' Precast Concrete Box Culvert End Sections - 2 EACH, 15" CS Pipe Culvert - 196 LIN FT, 15" GS Pipe Apron - 5 EACH, Remove Existing Bridge - 1 LUMP SUM, Aggregate Surfacing Class 5 - 1163 TON, Common Borrow (LV) - 600 CU YD, Remove Pipe Culvert - 40 LIN FT, Aggregate Backfill (CV) (P) - 106 CU YD, Random Riprap Class 3 (Quarry-run) - 48 CU YD, Turf Establishment and other miscellaneous construction items. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal. Electronic bids and fax bids will not be accepted. A bid bond, cashiers check or certified check made payable to the Treasurer of Kandiyohi County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany all bids. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County. Melvin W.
