Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
This project has been awarded to Dickson Company in the amount of $788,262. Any questions relating to the project or this advertisement should be directed to Contracting Services, (206) 252-0571. A surety company bid bond on a form acceptable to Owner, a cashier's check or a certified check payable to the order of Seattle Public Schools shall accompany each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. SPS is proposing to demolish the existing 42,000 square foot Kimball Elementary School building, and associated portable classrooms, hard surface play area, and parking lot, and replace them with a new 93,000 square foot school building, play area, and parking lot within the previously developed portion of the site (Figure 3). This project will include upgrades to existing utilities, as well as re-grading of the play area, improvements to on-site parking, walkways, bus loading/unloading zone, and a new grass playfield. Construction is proposed for June 2021 through autumn of 2023.
