ODNR maintains campgrounds at 54 State Parks with a total of 8,970 campsites. The intent of this project is to provide continued improvements to the electrical utility infrastructure of Parks and Watercraft facilities, primarily at campgrounds. Locations may include but are not limited to Caesar Creek State Park, Dillon State Park, John Bryan State Park, Punderson State Park, and Pymatuning State Park. ODNR continues its ongoing facility assessment and master planning efforts, working with Parks and Watercraft, to identify division and facility needs such as changes in use requirements, operating efficiencies, long-term maintenance/durability issues, and will utilize, adjust, and manage funding to address these needs across ODNR's facility portfolio. Remove and dispose of the existing campground power distribution system in phases as indicated. Provide new power distribution system in phases as indicated. Maintain and protect existing power distribution system that is to remain. System shall stay operational at all times. Locate all existing utilities prior to installing new conduit or duct banks. Provide modifications to the secondary distribution system as indicated in the documents. Replace all pavement, landscape etc. that is disturbed by work performed in this contract, the restoration of disturbed material shall match existing in kind and performed also outlined in this document. All trenches, excavations, etc. must be barricaded or backfilled at the end of each day. Provide campsite grading and paving for John Bryan State Park Campground.
