By extending the inlet structure, a low section of the bank will be blocked off and the elevation of the structure will be increased to 1331.0' to match the high points at each end of the structure. In addition, the inlet structure is being extended downstream along the left bank of Binnekill Creek so that it cuts off the side-channel depressions that allow the EBDR to flow around the inlet and enter the Binnekill during flood events. Once the structure is installed, a small portion of the Binnekill Creek channel near the existing inlet will be regraded to maintain the discharge capacity of the inlet Questions or requests for clarification may be directed to SLR at 231 Main Street, Suite 102, New Paltz, NY 12561 in written format or via email to Ellen Hart of SLR at emhart@slrconsulting.com.
