No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The Texas State University System ("Owner"), on behalf of Sam Houston State University, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications ("Qualifications") for the selection of an Architect/Engineer ("A/E") firm for design of the Recreational Sports Renovation and Expansion project ("Project") on the Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas campus, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ"). Prospective A/E firms are hereinafter referred to as "Respondents". The Project will include renovation of existing entry and multi-purpose area and addition of new basketball court structure. Renovation of existing entry (10,700 SF) will include a new student lounge area, functional training and cardio training, in addition to relocating the check-in area. The existing racquetball court area (4,100 SF) will be renovated to provide multipurpose studios and a spinning studio. The new building addition (14,057 SF) will include a multipurpose basketball court, storage, and a tent-drying room. The facility will remain in operation during construction. The Owner designates the following person as its representative and Point-of-Contact for this RFQ. Respondents shall restrict all contact with the Owner and direct all questions regarding this RFQ, including questions regarding terms and conditions and technical specifications, to the Point-of-Contact person by email only. Owner makes no representations, written or oral, that it will enter into any form of agreement with any Respondent to this RFQ for any project and no such representation is intended or should be construed by the issuance of this RFQ.
