Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Benton, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Constructing and installing approximately 400 feet of 6" HDPE Water main in place of the 6" PVC pipe in an existing 12" CMP carrier pipe under the purchase Parkway (1-69). The scope of work includes providing the materials, equipment, labor, and supervision to install the potable water system as described in the following specifications and on the attached drawings. Generally, a new 6" High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) main will be installed to replace an existing 6" PVC main located in an existing 12" corrugated metal (CMP) casing under the Purchase Parkway (Interstate 69). The new 6" HDPE main will be pulled through the existing 6" PVC main behind a pipe bursting head. The new 6" HPDE pipe will be connected to valves on the existing 6" PVC line on each side of the Purchase Parkway. The void between the new 6" HDPE pipe and the 12" CMP casing shall be pumped full of flowable cementitious grout.
