Site work and new construction of a service station / car wash facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; and for site work for a service station / car wash facility.

The City of Raleigh is soliciting formal bids from licensed firms to provide infrastructure for future vehicle charging stations located at 3000 Richward Place, Raleigh, NC. The scope of work involves providing new electrical service and conduit to manhole in strict accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Moseley Architects. Vehicle charging stations themselves are not a part of this project and will be provided (furnished and installed) by the City under a separate project. Oral questions will be received at the pre-bid meeting only. Questions submitted after 05-17-21 must be emailed to Kevin.Roberts@RaleighNC.gov no later than 05-24-21 as indicated in the schedule above. No proposal will be considered or accepted unless at the time of its filing, the same shall be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, or certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the FDIC and authorized to do business in North Carolina in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. Alternatively, a five percent (5%) bid bond issued by a corporate surety licensed by the State of North Carolina may be filed with the proposal. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the City of Raleigh, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Bidders shall provide certification that performance and payment bond sureties are licensed in North Carolina. The City of Raleigh prohibits discrimination in any manner on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, handicap, or sexual orientation, and will pursue an affirmative policy of fostering promoting and conducting business with women and minority owned business enterprises. The City of Raleigh has adopted an overall goal of 15% for participation by minority and women owned businesses for formal contracts awarded by the City. Bidders must include completed minority and women owned subcontractor documentation forms regardless of bid amount or the bids may be considered non-responsive and invalid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
