Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Phase One work is composed of the following major components. The Keele Relief Sanitary Trunk Sewer (STS) 12.9 km, 3000 mm ID tunnel anticipated to be excavated through rock, soil and mixed conditions vial tunnel boring machine (TBM). Includes nine shafts and various connections to existing and proposed sewers. The Jane Relief Sanitary Trunk Sewer (JRTS). A 3.9 km, 1800 mm ID tunnel anticipated to be excavated through rock, soil and mixed conditions via microtunnel boring machine (MTBM). Includes five shafts and various connections to existing and proposed sewers, including the KRTS and Shaft 02. TIMELINE: The engineer has completed the preliminary design of the Black Creek class EA solution. Detailed designs are anticipated through 2024. Construction is anticipated late 2024/early 2025. PRE-BID MEETING. The City of Toronto will be conducting an Information Session for prospective Suppliers to meet with City Staff and learn more about the upcoming Black Creek Sanitary Trunk Sewer (BCSTS) Relief System, Phase One. This meeting will be used to inform prospective Suppliers about the upcoming project and provide an opportunity for City Staff to learn more about market trends that are applicable to the Project.
