The anticipated start date and completion date has not yet been established. ** The Project consists of improvements to the interior and exterior surface coatings for both the 300,000-gallon elevated storage tank (water tower) and the 1,000,000-gallon ground storage tank. The improvements include but are not limited to: high pressure cleaning of the interior and exterior surfaces of both the elevated and ground storage tanks, spot repairs of areas exhibiting corrosion, SSPC-SP10 surface preparation of the interior surface of the ground storage tank, coating of prepared surfaces with number of coats to be applied dependent on surface type. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items (if any) as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the City of Sisseton, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded as portable document format (PDF) files. Users who have downloaded the Bidding Documents will be mailed an invoice of $20.00. The 11"x17" paper drawings and Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon payment to Helms and Associates in the amount of $100.00 for shipping and handling. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
