This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Bear, Delaware. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The work will include plumbing maintenance and repairs consisting of a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, laying out, installing, replacing, piping, and testing plumbing service and plumbing systems and components. Systems include, but are not limited to domestic water, heating, cooling, hot water systems, conditioned water systems, sanitary sewer and storm systems as well as all related components required for municipal buildings and facilities. Services will include, but will not be limited to installing and repairing piping, fixtures, and maintenance or replacement of commodes, urinals, drinking fountains, water spray features, plumbing related to heating and air conditioning systems as well as additional plumbing related issues as they arise. The Contractor shall verify their ability to respond to all requests for repairs or unscheduled emergency repairs as required, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, including holidays. All costs for labor and materials for these calls shall be included in the proposal. Response time by the Contractor shall be within four (4) hours of all requests. The successful proposer will be responsible for providing labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, service and the shop facilities necessary to perform high quality work. Only Mechanical/Plumbing Contractors may submit proposals on this project. Written Questions Due No Later Than (NLT) April 13, 2021 A mandatory pre-bid meting has not been established for this Request for Proposal. Each Vendor's contract shall be valid for a three (3) years period with the start date to be decided (TBD). Each contract may be renewed for two (2) one (1) year periods through negotiation between the Vendor and the Christina School District. Negotiation may be initiated no later than ninety (90) days prior to the termination of the current agreement. The District reserves the right to extend this contract on a month-to-month basis for a period of up to three months after the term of the full contract has been completed. Bidders will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin in consideration of this award, and Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract. The Christina School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein.
