Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Newberry, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project generally consists of the demolition of the existing headwall, 8 LF of 54" RCP, precast concrete headwall, and associated work tasks for a complete and proper installation. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The project will generally require the following work activities: 1. Clearing and grubbing activities, 2. Confirming existing site conditions, 3. Demolition of the existing structures, 4. Installation of new piping and headwall structure, 5. Installation of new riprap, 6. Installation and maintenance, and removal of erosion control facilities, 7. Site restoration activities, 8. Clean-up and removal of all trash/debris, 9. Grassing, 10. Other associated appurtenances for a complete and proper installation Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner and to fully complete the project within 60 days
