Deadline to submit Questions May 6th 2021, 11:30 PM PDT The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) seeks to hire a design consultant for the design phase of the I-880 Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) Central Segment Project. MTC, in partnership with the City of San Leandro, has identified an integrated corridor management (ICM) project for implementation along Washington Avenue in San Leandro from San Leandro Boulevard to Lewelling Boulevard. The consultant will perform the detailed design services for the adaptive traffic control system upgrade, system integration and testing, and fiber optic line installation. The scope of work includes, but is not MTC/ I-880 ICM Central limited to, project management and coordination, evaluation of existing as-installed fiber conduit configuration, evaluation of existing and future bandwidth requirements, preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) for the adaptive traffic signal upgrade, fiber optic cable installation, and design support services during construction & system integration. MTC has not established a budget for this RFQ. MTC will determine a budget based upon SOQ responses and final scope of work.
