**As of May 27, 2021, this project has been awarded to S.M. Hentges & Sons, Inc., in the amount of $1,338,809.70. Description: Extensive Park & Recreations Site work for the Development of the new Valley Creek Park in the City of Woodbury. The Park Site Development will include the following general work scopes: o Select site demolition. o New bituminous trails, entry road, parking lot, and sidewalk connections. o Box culvert installation under the entry road. o Stormwater management facilities including iron enhanced sand filters. o Construction of a playground container (playground equipment and surfacing to be provided by others). o Site restoration with a variety of native seed and turf seed types. o Landscaping including trees and shrubs. Future trail connections through the wooded area of the park connecting to the neighborhood to the north are illustrated on the plans. These trails and associated grading are not included in this project. Trails are illustrated for reference only. The Project will be constructed under a Single-Prime Contract. Site improvements around the existing Miller Barn including the filling of the silo and new barn access ramp with retaining walls. Improvements to the Miller Barn will be a separate project under a separate contract. Communication and coordination will be required between the two awarded contractors to install the surrounding site improvements. Additional Description: Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
