The Floyd County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids on Pest Control Services Contract for all of Floyd County Buildings. All specifications and required bid documents are attached. No Pre-Bid meeting will be scheduled. It is the responsibility of the bidder to establish square footage or any other measurements to ensure a proper bid. Most buildings to be included are public entities and do not require an appointment to view. Submissions will include an original and 2 copies of the following documents. The work is to be awarded in one contract, and shall conform in all respects to the Specifications contained in this bid package which are available for review in the office of the Purchasing Director of the Board of Commissioners of Floyd County, which is also the office of the undersigned, and said specifications, general conditions are open to the inspection of the public. Questions concerning this bid package should be submitted in writing to Bill Gilliland at gillilandb@floydcountyga.org and Randy Self at selfr@floydcountyga.org no later than the close of normal business hours on April 15, 2021 so that an appropriate addendum can be created and sent to all vendors prior to the closing of the bid on April 22, 2021. The right is reserved to the Board of Commissioners of Floyd County, Georgia to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids, during which time bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The right is also reserved to the Board of Commissioners of Floyd County, Georgia to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. Any contract executed pursuant to this notice shall be binding upon the Board of Commissioners of Floyd County, Georgia, as such, but will not create a liability expressed or implied, against any members of the Board of Commissioners of Floyd County, the Chairman of the Board, or employee of said County, in his or her individual capacity Bonds: None Required.
