Project Number-0V1125044, 09621002 This is a single lump sum bid contract for a new public works facility, including the main building, fuel island, landscaping, and site improvements. The project includes all building and site components as shown on the drawings and specified herein. This is a one-story facility, with mezzanine spaces and all conventional and special building systems as specified. B. The work includes all sections that are incorporated herein this specification, specific work sections of division 2 through 48 (except where indicated in the Table of Contents that a specific division is not included) along with divisions 0 and 1, which govern all the specific work involved in the project. C. Other key items relative to the work and the contract include but are not limited to the following: 1. This is not a prevailing wage project. 2. All building and site related permits shall be "pulled" and paid for by the contractor. 3. Erosion control and SWPPP plans are included in the set of documents for use and execution by the contractor. D. This is a single lump sum bid type of project, with the general contractor being responsible for all subcontractors working on the site and providing materials and equipment, as well as any sub-subcontractors and suppliers. The contractor shall include a 5% Bid Bond with submission of the Bid and shall include 10% Performance and Payment Bond to the contractor of record The Contractor may start and stop work, especially over the winter period to conserve temporary heat, provided that the Substantial Completion dates for the main facility and site are completed by April 15th, 2023. Contractor will also be allowed to complete the work earlier than the dates shown although there will be no premium provided to the contractor in doing so.
