RSU No. 18 is soliciting bids for the RSU 18 Bus Depot Addition project located at 32 Williams Court, Oakland, ME 04963. Project includes an addition and renovation to the Bus Depot. Renovations include mechanical and electrical upgrades to 4,800 square feet of existing garage bay and office space. The addition is a wood-framed connector to a Pre-engineered metal building high bay garage space of 2,980 square feet. Site work includes grading, paving, stormwater and sewer. The building will be partially occupied during construction, and work will be phased to accommodate ongoing operations. A. Successful Bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work shall be completed in two phases. 1. Phase 1 a. Scope of Work: 1) Construct new building additions. 2) Conduct interior demolition activities. 3) Renovate new bathroom core and office area. 4) Construct sitework infrastructure. b. Owner's intent is to award contract to allow for mobilization of Phase 1 on May 25, 2021, with Partial Substantial Completion on December 3, 2021, and Final Acceptance on December 17, 2021. 2.
