Site work and paving for a civil project in Casco, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work includes pavement shimming and overlaying, localized street repairs, ditching improvements, crack sealing, and associated work. The Contractor and the Town shall complete a field review of all streets prior to beginning work. Scope of work will be discussed including pavement overlay, localized street repair, shimming, ditching, and driveway apron adjustments. Two (2) separate bid forms are provided as follows: Base Bid Bid Alternate 1 The basis of award shall be the responsible bidder whose bid, complying with conditions and requirements provided in this notice and bid form, is the lowest total bid as identified on the total bid form which will be the total sum of both bid forms (Base Bid + Bid Alternate 1). The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. Bid Alternate 1 is subject to Town Meeting approval in June 2021. If approved, funds will be appropriated for a project start date of July 1, 2021.
