Renovation of an educational facility in New Britain, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Selective demolition of gypsum board ,existing partitions, doors and light fixtures. Construction of new walls ceilings and power outlets and painting. Modification to existing fire alarm service and HVAC duct work and sprinkler system. DAS Prequalification for General Building Construction (Group "A") or Construction Manager at Risk (Group "A") is required. Bidders are required to include their Update Bid Statement and their Contractor Prequalification Certificate with their bid response. Failure to include both shall result in bid disqualification. Questions related to this RFQ must be submitted via email Charles.Zsebik@CCSU.edu Last day for questions April 19, 2021 In all cases, the Contractor shall complete all Work required by this Project within ninety (90) calendar days as stated in the Form of Proposal. 10% Bid Bond must accompany bid proposal or proposal shall be disqualified. Performance, Labor and Material Bonds and current Certificate of Insurance naming CCSU as additionally insured will be required from awarded contractor. Accordingt to the general contractor, sub-contractor opportunities will exist for this projrct. Interested sub-contractors should reach out the general contractor for additional information on trades available on this project.
