As of July 5, 2022, a designer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in the late summer of 2022. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The City of Whitesboro has received a Contract award from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) under the Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TASA) Program. The City of Whitesboro is seeking to contract with a qualified engineering firm to practice in the State of Texas to prepare all preliminary and final design plans and specifications, and to conduct all necessary environmental studies and prepare environmental documentation The City of Whitesboro reserves the right to reject all proposals and to negotiate with firms that submit proposals, per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. The City of Whitesboro is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. The engineering firm must be prepared to meet the required DBE participation goal of the Office of Civil Rights. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
