Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood Inc. Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for: Seal Runway and Markings at Ashland-Lineville Airport. Major items of work include: Runway Crack Seal, Seal Coat and Markings. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $50,000. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Clay County Commission. Bids may be held by the Clay County Commission for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal of 6.52% has been established for this project. The Clay County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received. Said cost represents the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution, therefore no refund will be granted. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC" Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
