Renovation of a water / sewer project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

**As of July 08, project has not been awarded. 1. Document 00 43 70 - Subcontractor Work Listing and Document 00 89 00b - Women and Minority Business Enterprise Commitment Plan Form shall be completed and submitted with the Bid or within one (1) hour after the published bid submittal time. 2. Each bid must include a bid guarantee in the form of a cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent, (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle, A copy of the bid guarantee shall be provided electronically with your bid. Original bid guarantees shall be sent to Patty Brush, Port of Seattle, 17900 International Blvd., Suite 400B, Seatac, WA 98188 no later than 10 calendar days after the bid opening due date and time. 3. Bids shall include the solicitation number, title, due date and time in the email subject line. 4. The Port's e-mail server will not accept files larger than 10 MB. Iffiles are larger than 10MB, proposers should send, multiple e-mails with the information as set forth in the solicitation above as well as the total number of e-mails submitted by the Bidder. 5. Port will use the time stamp on the Bidder's e-mail to determine timeliness. Electronic copies of the Bid Documents for this solicitation can be accessed and printed through the Port's procurement website, VendorConnect, at portal Work includes: The Pier 66 facility was built in 1995. This project will address roofproblems and remedy deficiencies within the facility, which consist of; Anthony's Restaurant, Bell Harbor International Conference Center and the Bell Street Cruise Terminal. The project will require upgrades and roof overlays to extend the life of the roof, including but not limited too; new membrane and waterproofing, coating of existing roof metals, repair to penetrations and gutters and upgrades to various architectural, features. The work area is located on the West side ofAlaskan Way at 2221 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 981.21. Site Walk attendees further agree to indemnify, and hold harmless, the Port and its agents from any and all claims of personal injury arising from participation ofthe site tour. The actual times will be arranged by the Contract Administrator. PPE Requirements: Hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest, steel toe boots, lanyard and fall protection harness, safety gloves and face covering. Site Walk Location: 2201 Alaskan Way al: the Plaza between Anthony's Restaurant and Bell Harbor International Conference Center. The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $1.1 - $1.7 Mil. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Time limit for substa ntial completion of the work is 209 calendar days. In support of the WMBE community, the Port has established a WMBE utilization goal of 5% for this contract. All bidders are directed to the provisions in Document 00 89 00.
