Renovation of an educational facility in Red Deer, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work under this Contract is detailed in the contract documents and includes, but is not restricted to, the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, services and incidentals in order to perform the following: .1 Removal of existing standing seam metal roofing, metal flashings, z-bars, roof insulations, damaged roof air/vapour retarder, damaged plywood and gypsum board roof decking. .2 New non-combustible and insulated parapets and roof curbs as per the drawings. new roof expansion joint with tie ins to wall expansion joints. .3 New mechanical fasteners and plates into the existing roof air/vapor retarder, plywood and gypsum board per the drawings. .4 Clean and prep of the existing roof vapour barrier, installation of new primer and self-adhesive roof air/vapour retarder. .5 New 2-layers of 3-1/2” thick polyisocyanurate insulation fully adhered to meet the wind uplift requirements noted on the drawings. Tapered insulation where shown on the drawings. .6 New roof fall restraint system per the drawings. This is to include for all engineering, shop drawings, and the supply and installation of the fall restraint system. .7 Removal and reinstall the existing access ladder and platform, recertify for reuse the existing roof access ladder and platform. The project value listed reflects the total project estimate. Bid values not released for publication.
