Project Information: Hopper Dredging, Channel deepening of the existing channel from the Sabine Bank Channel to the Sabine Jetty Channel, extension of the existing channel 13 miles offshore, an option of existing channel deepening along the Sabine Pass Channel. Completion Time for Schedule No.1 for this project will be specified in the solicitation. The solicitation includes Ten (10) Options for additional dredging. Completion time for the Options will be specified in the solicitation, if exercised. If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in an amount of $3,461.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. The solicitation issued will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract award. Estimated magnitude for this effort is estimated between $25,000,000.00 - $100,000,000.00.
