Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 30, 2022, a general contractor has been awarded and construction is complete. To be established by Ordinance 9 of 2014. The scope for this project is to perform roadway improvements on Fern Avenue and East 70th Street by providing turn lanes and other roadway improvements to accommodate for the development of the adjacent areas. This project improves the intersection of Fern Avenue and East 70th Street by providing additional right turn lanes. The City will require LA. DOTD permits for the construction of the turn lanes off 70th Street. The project scope also includes a relocated median cross-over on Fern Avenue. This project is included in the city's 2022 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
