Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the Installation of a 500 GPM potable water supply well with all piping, electrical, controls site improvements and appurtances, and the abandonment of an existing well. The Contract Time will be One Hundred Eighty(180) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $400 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The City of Brookhaven reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids. Bids will be considered by the City of Brookhaven Board of Alderman at or before the next regular meeting thereof to be held within thirty (30) days of the date of receipt of bids.
