Site work and paving for a civil project in Clearview, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.

The Work includes: - Installation of erosion and sediment control measures; - Removal of an existing 7.2 m span, concrete deck on steel girder bridge; - Design and installation of a temporary flow passage system; - Management of the watercourse during construction to allow the work to be completed in the dry; - Excavation and installation of permanent steel sheet piles; - Construction of cast-in-place concrete footings for the structure and retaining walls; - Placement of an 11.0 m wide, 3.05 m rise x 13.11 m span, pre-cast concrete rigid frame structure; - Placement of a cast-in-place concrete distribution slab; - Construction of cast-in-place concrete retaining walls; - Construction of cast-in-place concrete barrier system; - Installation of steel beam guide rail; - Approximately 900 m of roadworks, including asphalt removal, excavation, roadway widening, granular placement, and grading of the roadside slopes to achieve a stable embankment; and - Restoration of the site upon completion of the Work. It is the intent of this contract that the work required to replace Bridge 146-23 and reconstruct Centre Line Road shall be substantially performed prior to October 31, 2021 or 20 weeks (100 working days) after mobilizing to site. No in-water activity will be permitted between September 30th and July 1st of any year to prevent disruption of spawning fish and incubating eggs. Activities outside the waterway, such as bridge backfilling, road reconstruction and site restoration can be completed during this time provided precautions are taken to protect the waterway.
