The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, gravity sanitary sewer rehabilitation projects that consist of open cut pipe replacement, open cut point repairs, cured-in-place pipe, pipe bursting, replacement or rehabilitation of service laterals, restoring ground and roadway surfaces, traffic control, sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitations, etc. at multiple project areas throughout the City's sanitary sewer system. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. Consideration will be given only to Contractors who submit evidence that they are properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes to bid and perform the work described herein as the general contractor and must have proper licenses under the state laws governing their respective trades at the time of bid opening.
