Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Beach Haven, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work under this contract includes the following: Furnish and install all equipment, labor and materials necessary to test existing hydrant valves including but not limited to the following, excavation of asphalt over valve covers, remove debris from valve boxes, exercise existing hydrant valve and provide a report for each valve tested. The work shall also include the removal and replacement of forty one (41) fire hydrants including Alpha Hydrant Inlet, forty one (41) resilient wedge gate valves with Alpha Restrained Joint Ends, hydrant extensions of various sizes and all restoration of existing asphalt, sidewalk, curb, stone and landscaping required. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
