The extent of Division 1 work involved is as follows: clearing and grubbing; removals; approximately 8,000 linear feet of 4, 6, and 8-inch of trenched water main; approximately 86 linear feet of 6-inch trenchless water main with casing pipe; ductile iron fittings; water service connections; approximately 722 square yards of PCC driveways and sidewalks; granular surfacing; cleanup, hydraulic seeding, fertilizing, and mulching; and miscellaneous work items typically associated with water main improvements in the City of Garwin. The extent of Division 2 and 3 work involved includes bituminous seal coat and miscellaneous work items typically associated with seal coat street work in the City of Garwin. Division 1 is not tied to Division 2 and 3. The City intends to select the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for Division 1 and the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for Division 2 and 3 (Division 3 is awarded pending availability of funds, but it will be the same Contractor as Division 2, if awarded). 20-WS-012 Proposals will be acknowledged by the City of Garwin at a meeting to be held at City Hall at 208 Main Street, Garwin, Iowa 50632, at 6:00 P.M local time on Monday, May 3 rd , 2021, or at such later time and place as may then be fixed. Proposals must be reviewed and concurrence received from the Iowa SRF program prior to award. The City of Garwin anticipates formal award of the project within thirty (30) days of said meeting and reserves the right reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities and to enter into such Contract as it shall deem to be for the best interests of said Owner
