Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marysville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work in general consists of placing and/or replacing drain culverts and storm drains, placing curb, gutter, and sidewalk, hot mix asphalt overlay, pulverizing existing roadway, the placement of pavement striping along 11th. Avenue from Olivehurst Avenue to Powerline Road. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. The estimated cost of the project is $1,622,520. Complete the work within 75 working days. No pre-bid meeting will be scheduled for this project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashiers check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
