The Project is expected to be awarded on March 8, 2023.** The work consists of construction of a replacement concrete boat ramp, bulkhead, and associated cofferdam at each location in Maryland. In accordance with Chapter 286 of the 2010 Laws of Maryland (Chapter 286), all marine contractors performing or soliciting marine contractor services in the State of Maryland are required to be licensed with the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE). The Contractor shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing construction work of a similar nature. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities, informalities and technicalities therein, and to take whatever bid they determine to be in the best interest of the County considering the lowest or best bid, quality of goods and work, time of delivery or completion, responsibility of bidders being considered, previous experience of bidders, or any other factors they deem appropriate.
