Palm Beach International Airport Hold Positions and RGLS at Runway 10R-28L and Taxiway R1 Palm Beach County Project No. PB 21-6 Palm Beach County Department of Airports The work generally consists of: Relocation of the existing runway holding position markings and new signs south of Runway 10R, at Taxiway R1. Project also includes installation of new runway guard lights, new conduit and homerun circuits, and modifications to the existing airfield electrical vault. All conditions and requirements for bid submission, consideration, and award are contained in the Contract Documents, which include the plans and specifications. The work must conform to plans and specifications, which may be obtained or examined on or after April 12, 2021. In order to better manage document content and disbursement, bidders can download and print the Contract Documents free of charge by visiting the County's Vendor Self-Service portal. The Contractor should access the site on a daily basis to be aware of any new data (addenda) that is added to the site. The Department of Airports is not responsible for failure to obtain all documents required in order to be considered responsive. Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by Palm Beach County and accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order or a bid bond submitted on the form provided, in favor of Palm Beach County in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope as described in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal is 16%.
