Renovation of a mixed-use development in Roanoke, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 14,000-square-foot library.
Sealed bids are invited for the Brown Library Roof Replacement Project at Virginia Western Community College located in Roanoke, Virginia. This project is generally described as tear-off of existing roof system to the concrete deck, replacement with new 90-mil, 30-yr warranted roofing system of approximately 14,000 SF and all the necessary incidentals described and/or illustrated in the Contract Documents. A Standard Commonwealth Bid Bond is required (form CO-10.2 and Contract Security is required) for any bid regardless of bid amount. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019. Alll questions are to be in writing and must be recived by 5:00 PM on November 2 2021
