The successful offeror shall provide all materials, equipment, labor and supervision necessary to Upgrade Electrical Systems and Components and related work at the Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of Natural History, 10th St. and Constitution Ave. NW, Washington DC, 20001. The Work includes, but is not limited to, all work specified in the drawings and specifications for SF Project No. 1530101 dated January 29, 2021. Construction Schedule: Total period of performance allowed for construction is 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Construction Budget: Estimated cost range is between $5.8M and $7.0M for the base bid. A team of qualified personnel will evaluate all submitted proposals utilizing the criteria set forth in Sections L and M of this RFP. Award of a contract shall be made to the responsive, responsible Offeror, whose cost proposal is in the opinion of the Contracting Officer, determined to be the most advantageous and in the best interest of the Smithsonian Institution.
